Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath is the first expansion for the real-time strategy game Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.
In the conclusion of Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, some gaps were left during the narration: some of the most interesting, in fact, is that there are certain reasons, never revealed, why ever Boyle, despite being a bureaucrat, was not found at Philadelphia when the attack occurred, or of how the charismatic NOD leader Kane is still alive.
This expansion can fill part of these gaps using, as usual, the film part of the game. It will begin at the end of the Second Tiberium War, as responsible for the rebirth of NOD military, then will take part in the events immediately preceding the attack on Philadelphia (told in C & C3) and in the last decade there will be a sensational development.
Game modes: The campaign is composed of 13 new missions, all dedicated to the NOD faction: movies between them deepen some passages that remain in suspense from Command & Conquer 3, such as the "resurrection" of Kane. Among the new introduced units, three of them stand out (one per faction), characterized by the significantly higher size and power: the MARV, a huge tank for the GDI, the Redeemer, an improved version of the NOD´s avatar, and the Hexapod, a mechanized spider for Scrin.These are very expensive units (5000 tiberium units) and may be individually built in every faction.
Graphically the game remains virtually identical to the original game, because very few changes have been made regarding visual issues. However it does not seem to be essential to make improvements because since its launch Command & Conquer 3 has presented an excellent technological section.
